We began our journey in 2002 as the first SWIFT Service Bureau in North America, providing a wide range of SWIFT services to both banks and corporates. Over the course of two decades, we have evolved into a financial technology leader, pioneering innovative solutions across the financial transaction and payments supply chain.

Axletree has established a global presence, leading from offices in the USA, Uruguay, Mexico, and India, with expansion continuing through Asia and the Middle East. Our Logo & Philosophy

Axletree stands for stability and dependability. Just as a trunk is central to a tree and an axle to a vehicle, the lumbar/spinal region for any vertebrate houses the central communication pathway and must be solid and stable, we aspire to provide similar stability and dependability to the operations of our clients, the lives of our employees, and the investments of our stakeholders.

The banyan tree is a collection of multiple roots that grow downwards from the branches of the main tree. Over time, these roots become indistinguishable from the primary trunk, and each lends support to the entire tree structure. The banyan tree in our logo symbology represents our expansion of solutions that complement our initial roots in SWIFT Connectivity. The lower half of the logo portrays our commitment to our clients built on a strongly rooted foundation of experience and trust. A banyan tree lives for hundreds of years stabilized by its prop roots – we at Axletree envision robust business solutions that grow from strength to strength over time to support many global enterprises.

Our Story

  • The concept for Axletree was founded in September 16, 2001, and is Headquartered in North Brunswick, New Jersey, USA with formal incorporation in 2002.
